Ingredients: 500 grams of flour without baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 cup warm / hot water, and more if necessary 2 tablespoons melted and warm butter or oil or butter 1 sachet of quick yeast (7 grams) preparation:
PREPARATION:
In a jug place the warm water, add the sugar and stir. Add the yeast and let stand 5-8 minutes, it should foam and bubble, this activates the yeast and confirms that it is alive. In a bowl place the flour and salt, stir, make a volcano and put in the center melted butter, and the mixture of water, sugar and yeast. Knead everything until you get a tender dough that sounds, it takes about 10 minutes, add more water if necessary, you can use a bread maker or a Kitchenaid with the kneading paddle (I gave it 5 minutes of kneading in the KitchenAid with the hook and speed 2). Make a log with the dough and cut it into 12 equal pieces (70 grams), cover them with a dishcloth and work each ball into a bread. Let rise, greet for 1 hour in a warm place covered with the dishcloth. Preheat the oven to 350F or 180C. Brush with milk or beaten egg. Prick the bread with a fork and take it to the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve hot, if you need to reheat them wrapped in a damp cloth in the microwave. Or open and toast.
